These guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on Daily Strange, including rules for comments, member activity, submissions, and community participation across the platform.

I - What do these Community Guidelines apply to?

These Guidelines apply to comments, member activity, user submissions, profiles, messages, and other community-facing participation on Daily Strange.

II - What kind of behavior is not allowed?

Daily Strange does not allow harassment, hateful conduct, threats, sexual exploitation, graphic abuse, misinformation, spam, impersonation, or unlawful and rights-infringing content.

III - Can Daily Strange remove content?

Yes. Daily Strange may remove, restrict, or moderate content that violates these Guidelines, platform rules, editorial standards, or applicable law.

IV - Can Daily Strange suspend or terminate accounts?

Yes. Accounts may be restricted, suspended, or permanently removed for serious or repeated violations.

V - Is AI-generated content allowed?

AI-assisted or AI-generated content may be allowed in some cases, but it should be clearly disclosed where appropriate and must not be deceptive, harmful, or misleading.

VI - Is disturbing or dark subject matter always prohibited?

No. Daily Strange may cover dark, strange, or disturbing subjects in an editorial context. However, gratuitous gore, exploitative violence, or glorified harm are not allowed.

VII - Can I promote my own content or services?

Unauthorized spam, deceptive promotion, fake engagement, or repetitive self-promotion is not allowed.

VIII - What happens if I report content?

Daily Strange may review the reported material and take action where appropriate, including removal, visibility restriction, account discipline, or no action if the content does not violate the rules.

IX - Do these Guidelines replace the Terms of Service?

No. These Guidelines work together with the Terms of Service and other Daily Strange policies.

Daily Strange encourages curiosity, thoughtful discussion, and creative exploration around mystery, horror, folklore, paranormal culture, unexplained history, film, and related subjects. We welcome a wide range of perspectives, but participation must remain respectful, lawful, and safe.

These Community Guidelines apply to comments, profiles, submissions, messages, member activity, and any other community-facing use of Daily Strange.

Violations may result in content removal, reduced visibility, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent termination.

1 - Respect the Community

You may not use Daily Strange to attack, threaten, harass, bully, stalk, shame, or intimidate others.

We do not allow abusive behavior, targeted hostility, degrading attacks, repeated provocation, or efforts to disrupt respectful participation.

2 - No Hateful or Dehumanizing Content

Daily Strange prohibits content that attacks, excludes, dehumanizes, or incites hostility against people based on protected or sensitive characteristics, including race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar status.

3 - No Sexual Exploitation or Non-Consensual Intimate Content

We prohibit sexual exploitation, coercive sexual content, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitative nudity, and any content involving minors in sexualized contexts.

This includes manipulated or AI-generated sexual content depicting real individuals without consent.

4 - No Graphic Abuse or Glorified Harm

Because Daily Strange may discuss dark subjects in an editorial context, some disturbing topics may appear in responsible and contextualized coverage. However, we do not allow gratuitous gore, celebratory violence, cruelty, or content designed primarily to shock through graphic harm.

We also prohibit content promoting self-harm, suicide encouragement, eating disorder glorification, or physical abuse.

5 - No Misinformation or Deceptive Manipulation

You may not use Daily Strange to knowingly spread dangerous misinformation, impersonate people or organizations, publish manipulated media without proper context, or present false claims as verified fact in ways that may cause harm.

This applies especially to public safety, medical misinformation, elections, impersonation, fabricated evidence, and deceptive AI-generated material.

6 - AI Content Must Be Disclosed

If Daily Strange allows community posting or submissions, AI-assisted or AI-generated content should be clearly disclosed where appropriate.

Undisclosed AI content that is deceptive, misleading, impersonating, spam-like, or harmful may be removed.

7 - No Spam, Scam, or Manipulative Promotion

The following are not allowed:

repetitive posting
mass promotional content
deceptive redirects
phishing attempts
fake engagement schemes
misleading headlines used only to bait clicks
unauthorized commercial promotion
copied or duplicated content posted across multiple areas

8 - No Illegal or Rights-Infringing Content

You may not use Daily Strange to post or distribute content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.

This includes:

copyright infringement
trademark abuse
defamatory content
unlawful threats
publication of private personal information without authorization
illegal drug, weapons, fraud, or exploitation-related promotion

9 - Stay Relevant and Authentic

Community features should be used for meaningful participation connected to the platform. Off-topic posting, identity manipulation, fake personas, coordinated disruption, and community abuse may result in moderation action.

10 - Reporting and Enforcement

If you encounter content that violates these Guidelines, you may report it to Daily Strange for review.

We may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, or terminate access where necessary to protect the platform, users, editorial standards, or legal compliance.

11 - Relationship to Other Policies

These Community Guidelines work together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Copyright Policy.
